About the Event
In 2006 the “LOOK and Stepper Homes Revving up for Kids Motorcycle Adventure” was created. This annual event encourages motorcycle riders across the province to join together in an effort to support children with cancer and their families demonstrating that there are no geographic boundaries where childhood cancer is concerned.
Dan Brazinha, Burke Perry, and Harry and Eva Stepper spearheaded the event by combining their interest and love of motorcycles with a sincere desire to help children with cancer. Involving staff, family, partners and friends, their motives were simple to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. The committee has expanded to include other community members who are genuinely interested in our children’s future.
Riders pay a registration fee of $699 and passengers $599 to offset their expenses. Each rider and passenger is required to raise at least $1,000 in pledges. 100% of these pledges go directly to support children with cancer and their families enabling us to provide more than 50 programs and services. To date the ride has raised over $2,265,930 dollars!
